Our Story

Our Story

2010: Founded

  • Founded by Matt Johnston in 2010.
     

  • Initiated as a single member consultancy with a concentration of execution within wealth management.
     

  • Leveraged almost 20 years of experience in large financial service organizations.
     

  • Developed strong relationships with solid firms.

2011-2015: Reputation Development and Opportunity Expansion

  • Expanded service offering and team in 2014. Senior leaders from the wealth management space joined Red Rock.
     

  • Focused on client business model expansion and leverage along with core distribution productivity.

2017-2020: Growth and Expansion

  • Expanded partnerships to include fintech and distribution.
     

  • Honed delivery and reporting process.
     

  • Significantly increased “word of mouth” reputation and referrals.
     

  • Established a significant presence in the technology adoption and monetization space.
     

  • Lori Hardwick joined in 2019 to further develop and expand our value and connection between technology and optimized utilization and leverage. 

Present Day:

  • Multi-disciplinary advisory firm delivery tactical strategy and execution support to wealth management and asset management firms throughout the US.
     

  • Established partnership with Practifi a unique technology platform serving the wealth management space.
